Who We Are. What We Do. Why It Matters.


The Warehouse Arts District Association (WADA) is a 501(c)3 non- profit arts organization dedicated to creating a vibrant arts community within and around the Warehouse Arts District in St. Petersburg, Florida at 515 22nd Street South.

Our mission is to build and sustain a vibrant arts community in St. Petersburg that supports the success of all artists and the community at large through a broad spectrum of tools, including community revitalization, marketing, advocacy and educational programming within the St. Petersburg Warehouse Arts District. 

We are a cultural arts destination in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg dedicated to flourishing our community through artistic endeavors, support, and highly curated art.

Groundbreaking at the WADA Arts Education Center

The Warehouse Arts District Association (WADA) held a ceremonial groundbreaking at the Warehouse Arts District Association’s ArtsXchange Campus on Wednesday March 10. The new Arts Education Center will be named the Frances McSwain Pruitt and J. Crayton Pruitt Arts Education Center which will host the Aresty School for Young Artists. The event was covered on a FaceBook live event: FaceBook Live Event - Art Center Groundbreaking with over 550 views.

Speakers included WADA President Mark Aeling, St Petersburg Mayor, Rick Kriseman, St. Petersburg Downtown Partnership Vice Chair, Barclay Harless and Natalie Judge of the J. Crayton Pruitt Foundation.

St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman who said, “Our thriving art scene drives our local thriving economy, and we have the artists themselves to thank for this. This is one of the most exciting places in St. Pete and I can’t want to see what comes next.”

SHOW IN THE TULLY-LEVINE GALLERY AT THE ARTSXCHANGE  

                         

The Tully-Levine Gallery is premier gallery space at the Warehouse Arts District Association's ArtsXchange.

Sixteen WADA member artists were commissioned to participate in the You Good? Mental Health Campaign. Their compelling artwork is on display through April 30th, 2021.  Come out to see how these thoughtful artists interpret issues surrounding mental health in our community.
