Near and Far

Perspective, Detail, Horizons, Destinations

This can be about the techniques you use, or the subject you pick. This is a broad theme and open to your own creative interpretation. Surprise us with entries that are unexpected, but more literal submissions are just as welcome. We invite you to take advantage of this WADA member benefit to exhibit in the Burka Member Lounge for our August/September show.

Please note that road work on 22nd Street South at 5th Avenue South will require you to detour if you are coming from the north. You can get to us using 24th Street South and 7th Avenue South and then turning left onto 22nd Street South. Please follow marked detour signs. We are open and accessible.

If you don't have a tent you can still sell your works at Art Walk

JULY 9 Second Saturday ArtWalk 5:00pm to 9:00pm

As a WADA Member, you can sell your artwork on Second Saturday ArtWalk at the ArtsXchange on the Deuces Corridor, even if you don't have a tent.

• Register in advance, space may be limited.
  
• Bring your artwork to the Burka Lounge on Friday, July 8 between 10:00 and 4:00.
• You can submit up to 5 pieces, but nothing larger than 20" x 20".
  
• All works must be labeled with your name and the retail price.
  
• Please include tabletop stands to display your work in case we can't hang your work on the tent grid-wall.
  

You must be a WADA member to be included in the Art Store.

WADA MEMBER BENEFIT

Second Saturday ArtWalk Marketplace: JULY 9, 2022 5:00pm to 9:00pm

The ArtsXchange campus on the Deuces Corridor is an anchor destination for ArtWalk visitors. We promote ArtWalk through out own marketing channels and those of the Arts Alliance. You can now add your social media handles to the registration form so that we can tag you in our event marketing.

Register now to reserve a space for the Second Saturday ArtWalk, July 9

Tent space is limited, so reserve early. The completion of our Education Center and the Rise memorial have increased foot-traffic to all sections of the ArtsXchange plaza. Every tent space has high visibility.

• Offered exclusively to WADA Members for a $25 registration fee.
  
• You must be an artisan selling personally handcrafted goods.
• WADA provides a 10'x10" space on the plaza with access to electricity.
  
• You provide a weather-stable tent with weights at all corners.
• You provide all props, displays, lighting; suitable for outdoor weather conditions.
  
• Space is allocated on a first come basis, after check-in with a WADA representative, on the day of the event. No set-ups prior to 3:00 pm.
• ArtWalk runs from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Weather permitting, all vendors must remain open for the duration of the event.
• Refunds: Registration fee can be refunded if cancellation is made prior to July 6, 2022. If weather conditions at the time of ArtWalk prevent set-up, fee can be refunded or credited to next month. Refunds differ for incentive pricing.
