From time to time it's fun to create outside the box, so to speak, and hearts are a perfect way to add some spice to any design. The heart symbolizes love and affection and a winged heart symbolizes a joyous and free spirited nature…evoking more of an exuberant feeling than creating on a rectangle shape!!! Just like the human heart...each one of our art hearts will be totally unique. You'll pick a word or phrase to put on your hearts that will speak to something we want to focus on or manifest in your life.
WHAT WILL WE BE DOING?
Saturday we will begin our day with demonstrations of different methods of gluing, tips on design, ways to unify your work with aging and paint methods, how to let your instincts guide your art, how to incorporate your photos in mixed media and much more. We'll play, exploration and have fun.
WHAT I SUPPLY and WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:
All supplies are included. We will take a lunch break and eat at a local restaurant. Lunch is not included in the price. If you have any favorite paint colors, brushes, papers, stamps or embellishments to put on your hearts you can bring them along. If not, I got your covered. Also, you might want to bring photocopies or color laser prints of old or new photographs. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting funky or bring an apron. Getting messy is encouraged!
