Drawing is one of the most fundamental forms of artmaking, with some of the earliest examples being the cave paintings in Lascaux, France from 30,000BCE. Drawing, since then, has evolved to become a powerful tool for artists to manifest their ideas into reality. WADA is committed to providing artists from all over Tampa Bay the resources necessary to sharpen this tool, hone their craft, and cultivate the artist community.

The weekly Figure Drawing Lab is a drop-in opportunity that welcomes artists of all skill levels to practice with intention and work alongside professional artists. The live models rotate weekly to keep the exercises varied and challenge the artists to improve each week.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: The open registration is only for sessions in January at this time. We will open registration for February sessions on the last week of January. You are also welcome to pay in person with cash or through Venmo.
